Austin gets to play baseball....FINALLY!
Austin has been to more of Clayson's soccer games, baseball games and tae kwan do classes and finally got to do something of his own! He went to Frozen Ropes where we had Clayson's birthday party and took a class. The first two classes he didn't want to participate, but, the last three he did everything and had a great time. I took some pictures today...they aren't the greatest because of the lighting in there and I had my camera on the wrong setting for a while.

This would have been a GREAT picture if I didn't have my camera on the wrong setting. He was running after practicing how to slide into a base.

Kenny Chesney-Take 2
Trent, Chris, Christy and I were very excited to hear that Kenny Chesney was coming back to do another concert for free since he had to cut the first one short because of the rain. We had so much fun the first time and were very happy to do it again a second time. We went out early again for tailgating and dinner and then went in to watch Kenny sing for over 3 hours! It was awesome!

Austin's Last Day of School
May 20th was Austin's last day of school. They had a big time playing in the water, eating pizza and making ice cream sundaes.
They made tshirts with everyone's handprint on it. Austin's handprint was black and gold for the Steelers!
Ice Cream Time!

The kids sang songs for us....Austin even sang a word or two.

"Just blinking my eyes"
Saturday, Trent and the boys had haircuts. Austin was soooo tired from staying up too late playing on Friday night that he fell asleep while getting his hair cut. It wasn't very long ago that he screamed and cried through hair cuts, so this was a shock to everyone. When he woke up I said something about him falling asleep and he said, "I was just blinking my eyes." Yeah, ok!

And tonight, he layed on the couch with me and was out within 3 minutes. Notice he's covering his ears....Trent and I were talking and I had no idea he was trying to sleep.

Muffins with Mom
Last Wednesday Austin had Muffins with Mom at his school to celebrate Mother's Day. They sang us a song and we ate breakfast. Austin, of course, sang his song for a week at home and then didn't sing a word when he sang it in front of the Mom's. When we sat down, he said, "Mom, did I sing?" He was so serious about it. Pretty cute.
Look how the girl next to him is belting it out! So cute, he just stared at her the whole time.
Flowers he made for me.
Cute box he painted with our picture on it. It was filled with Hershey Kisses.

Kenny Chesney
Saturday night we went to the Kenny Chesney concert with Chris and Christy. We tailgated between thunderstorms and tornado warnings and had a great time. The concert was great until Kenny had to quit because of the storms. We are excited that he is coming back next weekend to make up the concert. We had such a great time in the storms that we are glad we get to do it all over again....just would prefer doing it over again with clear skies.
Crawfish!
Trent's team from work had a crawfish boil and we all had a great time. When we got there the boys were unsure of the crawfish...but quickly learned how much fun they are to play with!

Open wide!
The boys went to the dentist yesterday. Six months ago when we took Austin for his first visit he screamed and cried. He would NOT open his mouth. So, yesterday I was a little worried, but, he said he wanted to go first and he jumped in the chair and opened his mouth. She was able to clean and polish them without a fuss at all. Yeah!
