The Simple Things
Clayson came home from school yesterday saying that he was the prayer person. My heart skipped a beat....."What does the prayer person do, Clayson?" He says "They say the prayer before lunch and at circle time." Ok, well considering that Clayson has trouble speaking in front of people and the only prayers he can say are the ones we say at bedtime (and that's with my help)....my next question was..."What did you say?" He says, "I didn't know what to say".....another heartbeat skipped! Then he said, "Ms. Hall helped me. She helps everyone with their prayers. Except Courtney because she already knows them." Whew, I'm off the hook....he's not the only one that couldn't come up with a prayer on his own. Good grief, I'm not one to say a prayer in public. Guess we need to start our meals with a prayer so he's not put on the spot again.

A sick little fellow
Austin has had a slight touch of pneumonia that started on Wednesday. He's doing much better and his fever finally broke Friday morning. We caught it early so we are very thankful for that.
Trent and I went to dinner with our good friends Carrie and Dave while Brady watched the boys. They LOVE it when Brady comes over because "she plays fun games" with them. We went to our usual spot Zin Zen Wine Bistro here in McKinney. We really like that place because we can actually talk and not have to scream to be heard. Although they did have live music this time which was pretty good....took us a while to determine if the singer was a girl or a boy but in the end we all agreed it was a boy. When Trent and I walked in the door both boys started screaming "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy." I said "Hey, what about me" and Austin started running toward me and screaming "Mommy." He was running so fast he nearly busted it before he got to me. Pretty cute, even if they did start screaming for Daddy first.
